This is the bridge where alot of Pripyat's residents went to view the beautiful plume shimmering out of reactor 4 on the morning of 26/04/1986.

You need permission to get in there, its not hard, but you do need a guide. They dont go into buildings with you, but the do make sure you are not trying to steal anything. Its no happy trip to Disney World... Some areas there are just disturbing. Its a place you will never forget though... I would love to go there. 50,000 people there, forced to leave, first told there was no danger, and they got exposed to very high doses of radiation. Many there got 10-20R/H at the time of accident.
