Kentucky's only gay Senator objects to the University of the Cumberlands, a Baptist school receiving $11 million dollars of funding from the commonwealth. Kentucky Equality Federation protested outside the Governor's Mansion in 2006 because Governor Fletcher refused to veto the funding. It is expected to make its way to the Kentucky Supreme Court.

  • Just consider it like signing a contract with a credit agency and saying you're going to pay a 21.9% interest. You may not like it but you'll have to pay it because you signed it. It's in the handbook. I guess that's his fault for being negligent, or careless.

  • the hell with fags

  • I so remember when this happened. I was a student at Union college near there in Barbourville. The college was totally in the wrong and I am glad that the public got to know about the wrong thing they done.

  • This guys needs to mind his own business. If he wants to go to a school for homosexuals then let him. The University of The Cumberlands is University of christian morals and the students dont want to have that garbage pushed in there face the way other students have to at other colleges. I hear they caught him in the act and they also kicked out a straight couple for doing the same thing.
