Too good to explain in words. But I'll try.
Backing vocals totally convey felling. Juniors vocals . nuff said. Lead guitar adds spontaneity.
rhythm along with precision get you jumping. Drumming is as militant and hard as it gets.
Bass wicked pauses , drops and smoothness with melody infused.

I was in my final year of secondary school when I used to hear this on David Rodigans 'Roots Rockers' show, it must have been about '79, it does kinda bring back memories, some good, some bad, it baffles me how so much has changed, there was inner city youth problems even back then but people seem to have much more of a sense of direction in those days, especially the youth, now it's like everybody is lost and music of today whether it's Reggae/Dub or Soul/Pop is reflecting this confusion.
