best bowler ever? ...ever?

I know the man's a great bowler, but that's ridiculous.

Bob Willis the best bowler ever imo. When I used to play I based my bowling style on Bob's, even right down to the way he used to hold the ball during his run-up. Like Bob, I've made many a batsman tremble in my time (and broken a few fingers, thumbs, and somebodys nose. Now I'm too old and fat to play :-(

They didn't show the John Dyson wicket. His wicket was the real big wicket as he was there from the start.

great bowler and character!

one reason they dont steam in so much nowadays is that the pitches are so benign, and the intimidation factor is taken out by all the new padding. thus more and more bowlers are adapting to these conditions by mastering reverse swing.

yes, comparatively modern batsmen look very accomplished technically, but placed in the time before helmets (or at least chest/arm guards) on real green tops against bowling like this and they also may look a lot more ordinary!
