  • I found this really really helpful for future reference - thank you. :)

I have one question though, why is nursing difficult? Is it painful?

Oh and is it important to breastfeed for the baby's immune system? I read this somwhere a while ago and I know my mum couldn't breastfeed me which resulted in me being sick most of the time as a child.

  • @VivienneVazquez It is painful at first. The baby isn't good at bringing out the milk. They might get frustrated and bite down (even gummy mouths hurt) or the consistent suckling starts to hurt :( Or when you have too much milk, you get engorgement (swelling of the breasts) it is very painful. You have to use a pump to get it out, if baby is not around or no longer hungry. Eventually you get used to it.

  • welp..i must admit, i found this verrry interesting (im a DAD by the way lol).....anyway, you mentioned Nursing, and how difficult it was for you.......im EXTREMELY curious about that whole nursing thing and im always wondering some particular things about it, BUT...i never got around to asking anyone......its also kinda personal too, but yea....if your willing to talk about it (it can be brief) if you dont have time), let me know and i'll message you....

  • @SurreallTV You can find many answers online or in a book. I am no expert.

  • Unless you're a housewife, why not let its father take more responisbility for your child? :)

  • @Lixinim Because he works a lot. ;P My poor guy.

  • I remember going through all that and more, I had two little ones 1 1/2 apart breast feed the first one foe 10 months had to stop because i was pregnant with the second and breast feed that one for 1 year. the double stroller in and out of buses, the running after one while hold the baby in my arms. the not having time for me. every waking hour was all for them. i had it so we would take naps together. and when i stayed awake it was to clean, and cook. it was alot of work but i loved it.

  • @IrisVlogging ummm no, its not a somethin that would even be in books, and its deffinetly not a common question (or SET of questions, rather).......but ok...nevermind, have a night night
