Shagging Around Productions - A group of Film and TV Students from The New Zealand Broadcasting School in Christchurch.

In the 48Hours film competition, you have 48hours to create a short film using randomly drawn elements and genres.

Given Genre: Horror

Prop: A Rope

Line: "What do you call that?"

Character: Jerry/Gerri Reed, a hypochondriac

Shagging Around Productions was 10 seconds late handing in the film. The editing was rushed to finish on time, this is what 48 hours of film making got us. Enjoy!

  • That was tight. Well done!

A lot more subtle than most of the horror films submitted for the competition.

I think the little dog needed a bigger part though.

  • Awesome - We missed the Wellington cut off but 30 seconds :( Interestingly, our film from 2006 started with a fridge shot - great minds!

  • Great job, bit unlucky missing out in handing the final product in. Hope to see another film in next years comp.

ps I was involved in the Auckland Comp- The Trauminator- Crime. Will hope to have on You Tube soon.

  • Great to see it finished. Hope you get next years entry in on time. Loved the extra dialogue in the heats.
