For the first time in over 30 years, a steam locomotive whistle was heard in the once booming West Virginia railroad towns of Elkins and Belington, West Virginia. Recorded in HD Widescreen for enhanced picture clarity on Friday, July 11, 2008, the video follows the route of this special excursion closely as it traverses its unique route along the beautiful Tygart River, and affords viewers the opportunity to experience this excursion as if they were on the train themselves (it was a bumpy ride, so the camera shakes accordingly!).
