This is badass but it looks like 10 people are holding on to oldschool with vice grips.

How much are these in American dollars? I want one so bad to put in samples and other wobbles!!! :D please message anyone!!!
-
Damn... This is amazing dude!
-
@BwarchtheGamer Good point, thanks.

With experimentation, and online tutorials, it's pretty easy to learn. I've got a few of these myself, I've had them only for a few weeks and already I'm learning how to control a ton of stuff. You don't need classes when you've got the internet as a resource~
-
Can anyone use one of these with the instructions or do you need like classes for this?

That's roughly £780 worth of MIDI controller...

@MusicSoundstruck One laptop with an 8 port hub :-)
-
Can someone please tell me if you are connecting this all to one computer through a hub or to multiple laptops.
-
I'm gonna hate myself for doing this, but I need to :P
I am a progressive house / electro house producer. Now I know that you're thinking "ahh fuck not one of these again" but just think of it as discovering new music.
obviously you dont have to check me out, but it would be great if you took 10 minutes out of your day to check me out.
whoever actually goes to my videos, I thank you with all my heart :)
my latest track is a progressive remix of Alors On Dance :)
thanks!

This is going to sound really newbish, but throughout your performance, you have the launchpad rolling down a column and playing each sample on a beat, 1/2 beat, 1/4 beat, etc.
I know this is a really basic feature of the Launchpad and Ableton, but I can't seem to figure out how to do that. Are you just putting those commands in the sequencer ahead of time? Or is there a way to make it so Ableton plays those samples in the column when prompted to do so?

@MVanKleeck23 It's a bit fiddly this. There are two things to read up on. 1) follow on actions for clips 2) Legato mode for clips. Choose a simple 1 bar loop to start with and keep it simple. Then just play with follow on actions and Legato mode. It'll make sense at some point! Sorry I can give more info with writing an essay.... GOOD LUCK!

one question...how do you connect the launchpads?i mean the usb port is on the side, how can u put the pads that clos together?
endeffekttube 1 month ago
@endeffekttube The USB cable that comes with Launchpads is right angled, so they can be put really close together.

did you really need 6 launchpads to do that?
