@shuri500 I think your idea fits really well. I like it. However I thought this was more like fighting against god means fighting destiny as this world is a cruel place and one can only devote oneself to life. For example if you have lost something very important (cause the left arm is the arm of the heart) and can barely keep on (cause the other arm is harmed too) then it would be like you were chained to the ground (or robbed of your wings = your freedom) only clinging to what's left behind.

After singing just be friends, some people defied her. She then set out to kill those who defied her. She made more enemies because of this and now brings us this song to show how she feels. I still think this song is epic though.
