Michael Phelps at the Miami Dolphins Wild Card Game vs. Baltimore Ravens

At the end of the game today, Olympic swimmer Michael Phelps (in an Ed Reed jersey) congratulates several players including Todd Heap, Joe Flacco, and finally Ed Reed. I got him to ask him where his gold medals are ("at home" he says).

Yep, I can all but understand why he took the bong hit after what he had to go through last month.

Then again, one can argue that he wanted the attention. If he were to take two steps back into the tunnel, we would never have seen him and he still would have been able to congratulate the Ravens as they cam off the field.

And, naturally, if he was NOT a celebrity, he wouldn't have been there with field access anyway. He was definitely cool to us there.

Spitsknowledge, thanks! I am rooting for the Ravens, too many University of Miami players there not too (I'm an alumni, twice over -- had Michael Irvin and Jerome Brown in a few classes). It's going to be a monster defensive battle next week. Ravens vs. Steelers. Can't wait.
