  • I regret I haven't met the Man.

    A great palyer...all I can say.

  • He was a great player and an even greater man.

Sadly, I think players and people like he was are a dying breed.

  • im glad to see a few videos of bernie on youtube now i happen to have a video of him playing out in highbridge in 2002 that i will have switched over to dvd and possibly upload to here as well

  • Yeah, upload it, that'd be great!

The more BB stuff the better...

  • Thanks...Bernie would've appreciated that.

Apart from being a great musician, he was a really nice guy, which is sorta rare, I think...

  • I agree with you Guitarshark, we are almost all gone ...the new kids does not have the feeling our generation (BB's and mine)had...

BB's was a great guy for sure, never met him but his music gives me the right idea.He must be playing blues and rock with Hendrix and others of our kind... AMEN,

  • I regret having only heard of Bernie a little over a year ago when I first saw him playing in four videos posted on You Tube when he was with Attaboy on the Uncle Floyd show. Check these out and see a younger Bernie in having a great time. Every single person who knew Bernie comments on what a kind and gentle spirit he was. You know it's got to be true. We need more people like him in the world. Anyhow, I'll miss Bernie too even though I didn't personally know him.

  • He was such a nice, mellow guy. Man, I miss him. I hope someone out there has a video of him playing "Tears". First date with my woman of nine years was Bernie's show and he played "Tears" for us. One of the most beautiful things I've ever heard on guitar, period.
