THE OTHER F WORD
directed by Andrea Blaugrund Nevins
produced by Cristan Reilly and Andrea Blaugrund Nevins

http://www.theotherfwordmovie.com/

NOW AVAILABLE ON DEMAND AND DIGITAL - http://ow.ly/eFXa6

This revealing and touching film asks what happens when a generation's ultimate anti-authoritarians -- punk rockers -- become society's ultimate authorities -- dads. With a large chorus of punk rock's leading men - Blink-182's Mark Hoppus, Red Hot Chili Peppers' Flea, Rise Against's Tim McIlrath - THE OTHER F WORD follows Jim Lindberg, a 20-year veteran of the skate punk band Pennywise, on his hysterical and moving journey from belting his band's anthem "F--k Authority," to embracing his ultimately authoritarian role in mid-life: fatherhood.

Other dads featured in the film include skater Tony Hawk, Art Alexakis (Everclear), Mark Mothersbaugh (Devo), Tony Adolescent (The Adolescents), Fat Mike (NOFX), Lars Frederiksen (Rancid), and many others.

Other ways to be punk in 2012: Be responsible. Read more than you watch TV. Recycle, don't be wasteful. Give more than you take. Find something or someone to live for, a life spent in selfishness is wasted. Find what you're passionate about and go all out. Instead of hating on pop culture and mass media, consumerism and materialism, focus on creating something of your own. At the risk of sounding like a hippie, put out love, compassion and positivity while everyone else is wallowing in hate.

actually there were some that were 70's punk like Black Flag, Devo and such, and majority were early 80's band when it was underground.

Clearing that out it's not about them and their music only, it's about them becoming something they've always sang against: parents and authority. Now the tables turned and it's their turn making them realize some of the thing they have to go for. Honestly I think they look like better parents because of the crazy shit they've done in their youth.

what a joke! Just about NONE of these bands are/were punk, none of these fags are punk. These bands were the corporate media's "punk" products that they started selling in the late 80's early 90's long after punk had run its course. The people in this video are fake sellouts just like they always were. Corporate whores dressed up in "punk" uniforms and sold to stupid kids desperate to live their own version of the punk dream. Produced by sellout Adam Yauch's film company (another fake "punk")

The name of the song is "Shot of Adrenaline". It's a music library track. I honestly can't remember what library it was from, but that is the name of the song. Hope that helps.
