Minecraft Piston Based Docking System (Drydock)

This design is really quite simple. The trick just to power each of the pistons. It could be made wider but it isn't practical. From what I can tell, it can't break the boat, which makes it ideal. I think it would be possible to redesign it so that a whole pier of them could be stuck side-by-side for more of an ocean front but would take re-spacing the redstone so that it won't interfere with its neighbors. You can replace the redstone torch with a lever as needed (creative mode makes levers hard to use).
