Wonderful! I never tire of hearing Roy tell his stories and pick those tunes. Roy is a real treasure! I feel truly blessed to know him and get to see him occasionally.
Thx for the posting- My friend James who turned me on to the Rev also used to help him around a bit and took me to his home in Jamaica Queens shortly before he passed, later Annie his wife gave each one of us one of his harps-
He was such a true inspiration in many ways to so many
Ian Buchanan, Jorma Kaukonen, Dave Bromberg and some others I'm probably forgetting had that phone number. I saw the Reverend on a park bench playing in Berkeley in the late 60's. Wish I'd had the nerve to ask for a lesson on the spot.

S.S. Stewart, made by Gibson. Most similar to the 1931 Gibson L2.

Aspiring guitarist?
At this point Roy has been playing blues guitar far longer than Rev. Davis.
