It's called the 'carbon cycle' look it it up! Jeez, if people would just stop taking someones word for important issues as these and actualy do some DD we wouldn't be waisting our time on this crap.

Good show 0421w, these lib-extremists don't want oil, coal, natural gas, nuclear what they really want is for all of us to repent and live sin-free lives! Recycle everything, no diapers, no toilet paper and so on. Craig is right, we are the leader in 'clean energy' with clean coal tech and the clean air act etc etc we should be proud NOT ashamed! Gore is a fraud and it's ever so obvious

Al Gore invented the internet. I think he knows everything about science, even though CO2 has about .054% of impact on greenhouse gas. And humans put in about .0005% at most. Yeah...we matter.

Let's make nuclear everything! Nuclear eggs, nuclear potatoes, nuclear light bulbs, nuclear underwear - hell...If Larry Craig say's it's safe, it must be, and we should all follow his lead! As long as he builds his house and is O.K. with his grandkids gowring up next to a nuclear plant, I'm all for it... I'm guessing he would never take that risk, and neither would any of you filthy hypocritical Republicans.

very nice sen. craig. you hit it out of the park in your 6 minutes!

I totally agree and Senator Craig is spot on with this discussion. We have the technology for clean, non-proliferating nuclear power. Coal fired plants are not the answer. I'm another environmentalist for nuclear power. The Clinton/Gore administration did kill the DOE budget during their terms.

I agree we as humans could be more green. But before we can as consumers become green, the government needs to make it possible for the average person to take advanage of tax deductions for making our houses more efficient, our lawns less water demanding and for us to have our own hydrogen generaters.

go back to California...
Obviously you don't have children that will be left to clean up the mess that the generation before help to create. Surely, it is not their fault that greed dominates the decisions made today. You need to look more closely at the senators who receive large donations to support the mega businesses that have a strong monopoly on the bills coming out of congress. Also, brush up on your knowledge of a confined atmosphere- where do you want the carbon dioxide to go?

Science is rarely obvious, rather it must be vetted repeatedly.
