Sorry but, until Microsoft lowers the System Requirements, I ain't buying it.
That poor Windows 2000. Don't care if a OS has bells and whistles, I just want an OS.

ReactOS is cool, it runs EVERY windows program. its a windows with 0 viruses :)
But I still love my win 7

ReactOS is working on a Windows-Like OS, which may take a couple of years.

I prefer OpenSuse,
BUT the non-geek person will want someone that can burn an Iso of it, so the drivers and codecs, become apart of the OS (Operating System).
Until Ubuntu, OpenSuse, OpenSolaris and other Open Operating Systems include things that people need by *DeFault*. The non-geek person will simply say *Windows* or *Mac*.
Gnome, KDE, Solaris and many other platform's have the potential to kick Windows butt.
