ahhh i remember my funky pup, i almost won world finals... i had the single 12 in a 14cubic foot enclosure, and it burped a 185.2db at 23hz with 30,000 watts rms... it completely blew out the windsheild; if i would have been inside, i would have been dead, thus its ban in the world finals to this very day

The subs have little to do with what's louder, the enclosure and proper install do. Heck a few customers I had who bought good equipment, and then threw it in a $10 dollar prefab box and wondered why it wasn't loud at all
Amazes me when people spend $500 bucks on a sub, and $20 dollars on a box and expect top notch results
