Here's Part 2 :)
Later that night, I decided that I had enough for one night. "Hey mom, I think I'm gonna go upstairs and lay down." "Alright.. I'll clean up here." I stood up and started making my way to the stairs. "Hey.. don't be sad about him tonight sweetie. Everything is going to be alright." I smiled and gave her a hug before I walked up the stairs. "Thank you mama.." I walked up to my room and shut my door. Finally, I'm alone. I took the picture out of my pocket and kissed it before laying it down on my dresser. Once I had my nightgown on, I layed in my bed, staring up at the ceiling. How am I supposed to sleep right now? Everyone is still downstairs, having a wonderful time, I have had the worst Christmas so far. Well, I take that back, it's not the worst ever. But if I didn't have my daughter with me.. then I could count it as the worst ever. Minutes passed, and I realized that my eyes were slowly closing and I was drifting off into a light sleep.
In the back of my mind, I heard the doorbell ring. But I don't pay any attention to it.
When I noticed that I wasn't getting any sleep at all, I opened my eyes and something in me was telling me to walk downstairs. Once I got down there, all the lights were off, and it was quiet. Everyone had left. I sat down on the couch and rested my head in the palm of my hands. My ears tuned in on a car door shutting near the street. I looked up and saw a yellow car drive off. I stared at the window for a while until I heard keys jingling, and the door knob twisting. Before I could do anything, the door was open. A man walked in with a big bag on his shoulder. Not just any man, but the man that I married; my husband. Joseph Adam Jonas. I couldn't believe it. Am I dreaming right now, or is he really standing in front of me. I looked up and busrt into tears when he spoke. "Merry Christmas, baby.." He dropped his bag on the floor, and I wrapped my arms around him tightly while he picked me up in his arms. "I missed you so much!" I told him, and he kissed my cheek and whispered in my ear. "I know.. I'm sorry, I'll never leave you again." Finally my feet were planted back on the ground and I looked up at him. "But.. t-they're gonna call you back." He shook his head. "No, baby. I'm home for good now." I smiled at him, letting my tears run freely. He cupped my face with his right hand, brushing my bangs away with the other. Looking deep into his eyes, I leaned up and kissed him. The first time in almost nine months; and If you asked me, it felt like our very first kiss when I was just sixteen years old.
I pulled away breathless, and leaned my head against his chest. Listening to his heartbeat match mine. I felt whole again. I was no longer sad, or angry. I was happy again. And even though he was a little late, We still got to spend our first Christmas together as husband and wife. "Merry Christmas Joe.." I whispered agasint his chest.

oh, and the reason why i wrote this is because my cousin is in the army and she just came on TODAY!.. so i was so excited when i found out that she was able to come home, and she will be here for atleast a year before she has to go back overseas.. but i was planning on writing a Christmas themed story.. and so i just decided to base it on something that i was happy about right now, and make it filled with Jeminess :) haha.. hope you liked it.
