Ben had no talent, he had effort and determination. All combined with hardwork....

But he aint what he used to be because of oldness and injury

ben wallace is the reason I love the pistons so much. This guy was too small to be a center, didnt have much talent (especially offensively), was undrafted, and was on a team full of nobodys. In 2003, chauncey billups, rip hamilton, and ben wallace were nobodys. But yet somehow just by shear effort and determination, ben wallace became a dominant defense force in the NBA and the rest of the team came together perfectly. Ben's old now, but I'll always remember him for what he did in Detroit.

i hope he come back just like he used to be.
