  • しゃする, 謝する sensei :)

  • @DinosaurHUN Yeah, i see what you mean but my point was different:i was watching some japanese "authorities" on aikido that have whole "aikido-universities" there in JPN, considered as 'top of the country' and really, by all standards, they radiate pompous and 'unflowing' feel of what they do and how they do it.It is a feeling, an unpleasant, fake scent.Similar scent i get from current 'doshu'.I love how mrTamura feels.same 4 my teacher who never missed a practice with him.love also Koichi Tohei

  • @hallobaaaby Do not underestimate Japanese people they could surprise you in aikido! But definetely we in Europe are more stronger physically than the Japanese...Once upon a time Günther Steger showed Me some kotaegashi technique with bokken and he throwed me like I dont have bodyweight. He is kinda the same size as a bigger Japanese but Im twice as big as him...So dont underestimate the smaller ones they can show you techniques that you cant control yourself in a situation!

  • @DinosaurHUN Oh thanks for the info, i take your word on it so no need to ask others :D As you say this i seem to remember when i was kid i did some 3years of judo and our teacher from japan used to make us say something like this at the door upon bowing. Here our teacher used to count in jap & stuff but dropped it--it is better like that(i just don't like uniformisation&packaging that much).Funny thing is that japanese are so incredibly WEAK in aikido compared to our turbo-force here in France!

  • @hallobaaaby It is said you have never heard osu because in many japanese dojos students say osu for their teachers when they show their respect, not only in aikido dojos! Ask some other masters about it...

  • @DinosaurHUN Haha, in Jap-lang i say 'osu' (pronnounced ozu) for 'vortex'. it's true i'm new: i've been practicing for 8 years so far. for these 8 years never heard anyone pronounce 'osu'! and my teacher is close to Tamura.

    osu!

    lol

  • @hallobaaaby

You could be new in martial arts if you ask me why I said osu...lol?

  • @DinosaurHUN why do you say 'osu', are you calling Tamura 'vortex'? lol

btw, what did he die from? my teacher is close to him (fr) and i don't want to ask him because he was very upset upon his passing...

  • R.I.P. Tamura sensei! I have been practicing his aikido-line for nearly 3 years, osu!

  • СВЕТЛАЯ ПАМЯТЬ...
