I forgot to say that unlike u who has been reading a lot, i have actually lived in both countries, RUssia and US that is, and have experienced both cultures and both sides of politics. I even learned this dang english. And the problem isn't that russia is beyond reproach or not. THe problem is that americans worry about Russia more that they do about themselves. They make sure to point out the pitfalls of Russia, and bury their own.

Shep, I'm not going to argue with you. But I will suggest that you watch a movie titled Manufacturing Dissent. It's worth watching. Can you suggest any Russian made documentary with english sub or dub that is critical of Russia, or is Russia beyond reproach?

Well here is where the problem lies. Experience and knowledge do not mean a thing if you chose to be biased and hide the truth. As is the case with the US govt. Even though russia extends its hand to the US every chance it gets, instead of shaking hand US spits russia in the face. THere is no more cold war and yet missiles are being built on Russia's borders. NATO keeps expanding despite the fact that warsaw pact no longer exists. RUssia opens worlds largest disposal facility of chemical weapons

Shep - Over the past 6 years, I vave spent an incredable amount of time and energy geting a grasp on international affairs. I read more in a day than most people read in a week. I do not rely only on JUST Fox or Al Jazeera or RT for my new.s How can I be brainwashed when I am taking the time to watch Russian, Arab, Persian, Turkish, Paki, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, S American, Mexican and many other INTERNATIONAL news sources. On top of that I have researched a multitude of translated history.

Cannes film festival is where movies really get apraised and no bias when it comes to politics. Well at the cannes film festival, michael moores films always win big awards, and one of his films got top honors, something no other documentary film has recieved in like 40 years. But guess what, in the US the govt shuns those films for the public not to see. In russia, all soviet bans on films have been lifted, nothing is hidded from public as u try to imply.

Wow, third comment that i have to mention hypocricy once again on ur behalf. You seem to advocate that it is fine for the US to be the cause of problems but not for russia. But ur other problem lies in the fact that you so strongly believe only one side of the story told only by one group of people, namely US governement pundits. I dont know if uv heard of michael moore, he tells the story like its is but his movies get released only in select theaters.

Russian's need to accept their responsibility in whats going on in the world today too. You know, its as if u dont pay attention to what i just said. Hypocricy is ur #1 problem. As soon as u realize this, u will learn to post more accurate comments and not get any f this or f that. Why are u so preoccupied with the Beslan response when BUsh's response was to continue reasing to kindergarteners when 1st plane struck world trade center. Y not adress the lies of WMDs in iraq, since there were none. How about 700,000 iraqi civilian deaths due to US bombing or afgan civilians???
