and this was Coverdale's debut with Deep Purple. Talk about lighting a rocket to the sun. This live version with Whitesnake is just jawdropping unbelievable. And only underscores how ludicrous it is that Deep Purple is not in the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame. Considering some of the bands and artists who are in, maybe this is a good thing...
