  • long live to Jamahiriya ! thank you for everything father Gaddafi !

  • @ivan14968 Absolutely!

  • This is The Internationale, a socialist anthem never used by the oligarchy of Gaddafi. The real anthem of the Libyan Arab Jamahiriya was ''Allah Akbar'' a Egyptian march song.

How dare you to use the socialist internationalist anthem and say that it is Libyan!! Gadaffi never liked Marxism, he hated secular ideologies.

  • @UDSS This was the Anthem of The Jamahiriya CONGRESS, I am well aware that this is the internationale, this was used as the congress from 1977 until the last congress in 2010, this was used at every congress for 33 years along side the national anthem, Gaddafi implemented arab socialist and nationalist policies, this was the anthem of the General People's Comittee but not the anthem of the Revolutionary Command which had its last meeting in 1999.

  • @williamlander Were do you get that information. I want to know your sources. Because I don't believe a word of what you are saying. The General People's Committee of Libya were tools of Gaddafi and would never sing an anthem that is secular and revolutionary socialist. Gaddafi hated secularists, socialist, marxists, liberals and communists.

Again I want to know who told you that General People's Committee used this anthem!

  • @UDSS All information I have gathered from books, Gaddafi was a socialist. If you read any of his doctrine it is basically socialism, its defined as arab socialism and pan arabism. He defined himself as a socialist. This was on the state website of the Jamahiriya, on the congress meetings page. I also saw it sung at the congress in a video from the website. If you've read the green book, its a socialist and nationalist manfesto.

  • @UDSS

UDSS. You're a Trot, barely a Socialist anyway.

  • The anthem of the legitimate Libyan Congress

  • @williamlander No need to defend my friend. Green Libya had every right to play this song. if one, like you, knows the REAL situation about Libya, Gadaffi and the Jamahiriya AND the meaning of the song 'Internationale' he or she should praise it. as of today 2012 the people of bani walid have claimed their city back.

  • @UDSS Socialism does not exclude existing cultures and interpretations. Trotsky and Engels actually hammered on this. wonder why they and their works have been obstructed. Please try to leave some space for cultural differences. Are u aware of Gadaffi's support for freedom fighters around in the last 30 years? His achievements for Libya? Do u know the Libyan Jamahiriya? As in 'I have read and studied the green book'. This used anthem brings depth and space to socialism to say the least...

  • Glory to Libya!
