Ringgold is rebuilding, repairing, and unity remains. I hope that I am correct when I say thanks again for the kindness and support that Ringgold has been shown by people of all races, religions, and creeds

Unfortunately, amidst all of the triumph in that we came together as one, we weep and pray for those that we lost. Let us, the fine patrons of Ringgold, never forget their names.

Thank each of you for your concern regarding my family and friends. I do have family and friends that survived inside their homes as those same homes were destroyed. I have friends that were in their car the second it hit and the car itself was levitated momentarily with them in it and they survived. I have friends and family that were fortunate enough to be somewhere else by the Grace of God.

Difference is not a weakness. We fear difference amongst our human race because we can't decipher whether or not any one person's differences are better or worse than our own. The extreme power of Prayer, simple words of kindness, countless contributions, and Pure Love were and remain the glue that has brought multiple communities together as one. I cannot acknowledge negativity, however. Words are a powerful tool and they are at times used to attack with cowardice hands; especially when one is given the option of hiding behind a screen name without revealing an identity.

A great day it would be if I were given the opportunity to shake hands and wrap my arms around each of you that felt compelled to write such kind words. I thank each of you from the depths of my being. Reflection on the past isn't always an easy thing to overcome. It is especially difficult amidst tragic events such as the storms that ripped at the hearts of countless people throughout the south.

Your prayer was so touching that it brought tears to my eyes. Thank you for posting this video, despite knowing some would ridicule it. I pray they come to know Him who can speak and even the seas and winds must obey!

My family lives in East Ridge and I live in Charlotte, NC. I was in MD on business that day and called that morning to wish my Mom a happy birthday. By the time I was flying back to Charlotte, I was a nervous wreck after hearing about the storms. Thankfully, my family was all right, but my heart went out to Ringgold, especially when I saw the damage on a trip home. Thank you, Trent, for bravely filming the storm. It and your heartfelt prayers are a tribute to those lost and those who suffered.

Bless you, Trent. I know the prayer of a true believer when I hear one. A lot of damage was done that night , but I believe that because of the prayers from you and other people ,even more damage and loss of life prevented. I salute you , my brother , in the name of Jesus .

My house was destroyed by one of the tornadoes on April 27th. Crazy how it's been exactly 1 year since then.

My God i live in dalton ga (next to ringgold) and the wind was intense that night here and the night looked like the apocalypse.
