I asked the same question and coming from a Subaru dismissed it because it doesn't have AWD - however how wrong i was, from the road tests i have read, it is a sensation on the road.

The American Focus is based on the platform of the older European Focus model (19982004) which was a great driving car so unless it was fucked up I think, it should be good car apart from the looks.

But is it worth it? Also i believe it should have kept with the RS tradition of AWD at least.. the RS 200..
Then this would have been a nice Rally Edition. Also only 3-4 colors. common...

How come nobody at Ford America even think of giving us the Focus RS? This is a seriously capable car. It's a WRC car if you're not going to run an official WRC event. This thing is lovely. Only thing I'd change is the color. Maybe go with a sapphire blue or royal blue color. Then I'll buy two! ^_^ Great car and something refreshing to see apart from the ugly American Focus we get.
