@IvinesJ its wrong.... This is children stuff... You cant hold a spot for someone... EX.. Your at Kroger and there is a long line and you know somebody close to the front. You cant skip everyone else to jump the line... Same principle, it called morals.

I don't see what's so wrong about holding a spot for a few moments while my family's car comes around the corner. I've done it once or twice before on behalf of my grandmother.
I wouldn't get into a confrontation over it though. If someone else insisted on the spot, I'd probably give it up. A parking spot isn't worth getting run over, keyed, or even yelled at harshly.
