No doubt about it. Hands down, Colin Firth is the best Mr Darcy ever. That particular version of Pride and Prejudice would have thrilled Jane Austin. The entire cast and production are just excellent/

Ha ha aha yes ...this video just sparked a big hate-on for the 2005 movie in me again-God I hated it when it came out in theatres! I saw Colin Firth in person once, really close up,and he is just beautiful, and was really nice to us. It's funny but I don't like him in other roles so much, just as Darcy. It's also funny because I love Keira in other things, as I do Matthew.

@MsMissSunday Yes, I can see how that would happen. But for those of us who care about the book, the 2005 movie and Matthew, don't do the story or Mr Darcy justice. The movie version is Pride and Prejudice dummed down and sexed up for young America audiences. It's like the Coles Notes instead of the real novel. If Matthew played someone else I would adore him too. As I did in Little Dorritt.
