This is my fourteen year old son Alex firing the Draco for the first time. The cleaning rod almost comes out. I had a great deal of mixed feelings about this as someone who has had to use a firearm in self defense and seen the aftermath. Peel your kids away from the shoot em up video games that program them to disconnect from the brutality that is depicted and teach them how to do things in the real world. Due to all the time he spends playing Call of Duty, he needed very little instruction other than safe handling, they don't teach safe handling on Call Of Duty. Video Games like COD are the greatest recruiting tool the US Military will ever have, but they don't teach the grave responsibility of handling firearms, people suffer or die painfully when they are shot, and there is no "respawn" in real life.

  • well taught.

  • Great video

But why do trolls attack your video?

  • Within the 30 seconds of the video starting I noticed 2 huge safety violations.

First being the firearm was not on safety when loaded,

and two when it was loaded and not on safety he put his finger on the trigger when he brought up the gun.

  • @Eslamizar really!!!??? What if he wants to assault you with his ak pistol, could it be called an assault pistol then? cant stand you "technically correct" idiots. just watch the video and STFU

  • should've gone all black ops on that firing range... lol jk

  • @Eslamizar If we are talking about the law and codified terms, there is no longer such thing as an "assault weapon" in federal law. However many states have "assault weapon" style laws, but I am not aware of any of them that define an "AW" as an automatic pistol. Machine guns tend to fit into a different category than "AW" as far as US and state laws go.

  • Sorry.... not trying to be a party pooper, but if I'm not mistaking.... your draco has to shoot fully auto to be considered an assault pistol.....

  • Allright,Alex, way to go! Good to learn the basics of firearms from someone who knows what they're doing. Watch that cleaning rod,it's about ready to go downrange in a couple more shots. Wish I had a Kalishnikov at 14,maybe I wouldn't be so damn obsessive about them now......AK's rule, brother!
