"In the book "El niño del jueves negro" (The black thursday's child), Jodorowsky tells how a metaphysical entity, called the Rebe, takes possesion of the male children in the Jodorowsky family. Through this "tradition", the history of the family and a series of esoterical secrets are transmited. Jodorowsky writes: "Alucination or not, the Rebe changed our lives. Without him, I would never have put roots in this world, which in his majority, is agression. My grandfather made of him an accomplice, my father an intruder, and me a master. That's why although my reason says the opposite, I prefer to believe that the Rebe and all he told about my country and my familiy, is true".
