Recovery Act funds are allowing Department of Energy contractor Washington Closure Hanford to construct two new disposal cells at the site's facility for low-level waste, the Environmental Restoration Disposal Facility (ERDF). Subcontractor DelHur Industries excavated about 1.8 million cubic yards of soil for Super Cell 9. This video was produced by Washington Closure Hanford on Dec. 16, 2009.
