the transition from the first 4 albums to the art of drowning is a pretty big change in sound also

I totally agree their new stuff doesn't suck. It's different but that's what makes a good band.They mangaed to do where most bands fail at which is getting big without selling out or losing their orignal fanbase.

you are all idiots, this is classic great afi that means alot to me, but to say their new stuff sucks shows me what kind of fans you guys are.its extremley different yes but there is no way a band can play the same way forever, maybe you should listen to some morrissey before you listen to the new one. if youve listend to afi from the beggining you probably understand me.

The good 'ol days. Sing the Sorrow is an awesome album. Decemberunderground is pretty weak. I guess I can't judge it too harshly since I don't own it, but I'm not crazy about what I heard. AFI is not now, nor were they ever an emo band. People have no idea what emo is (or was) anymore since it's been affiliated with hot topic imagery. And how about fuck kids who can't use the correct form of "they're" or call other kids "faggots" as if it were something to be offended by? Fall Children, Forever!
