  • I have a replica of the largest on my wall. I guess everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Good fishing!

  • did you hier a guide

  • @urwack123 Yes, a guide is provided in your fishing package at Anglers Inn.

  • what swimbait were you using?

  • @MienB0i916 Storm 5 inch

  • All these fish came from El Salto in Mexico. It is one of the best large largemouth fisheries I know of.

  • Great camera work an angles here of you fishing here Babe...more of this for your 2012 season..thks

  • Please, I mean no disrespect to Babe Winkelman. I love his show and think he is a great outdoorsman. But I have fished El Salto 4 times in the past two years and just got back two weeks ago. Those are NOT 10 pound fish. We weigh all of our fish on accurate Boga-grip scales and I have caught bigger fish than those. My best so far is 9 1/2. My buddy caught an 11 this past trip. Those are nice fish - but I'd bet they go 7 1/2 at the most, maybe 8. The guides will say any fish is 10 = bigger TIPS!

  • Those fish are not 10 pounders. What a joke. Babe Winkleman is full of crap.

  • good video

  • I have been most luck with jerk baits and poppers this summer while largemouth fishing

  • Babe - if you weighed those fish and they were 10 pounds, then I sincerely apologize and retract what was, as you stated, just my humble opinion. I didn't see the actual show, and this youtube clip is short. Maybe there was alot more to it all than what we can see here. Bottom line - El Salto is a great lake and those are beauties! I'm still searching for my double digit bass. Good fishing indeed!

  • @YoungMoment21 Google Babes trophy room for photos of his fish. 2 of the bass are there, the biggest one is at the top of his head to below his belly button at a 30 degree angle, roughly. Well I am 6'1" and I have 24 inches from the top of my head to belly button. Babe is 6'3". Use 90,60,30 triangle geometry the fish is much larger than 24". Do the geometry yourself. Then you have the bend in the fish and doesnt that add some length? If you dont understand geometry, someone you know does

  • @nberg19

Those fish aren't 10 lbs. Thebassmaster32 is correct.

  • @thebassmaster32 dude, ever meet Babe? My guess is no. A 6' 2" man that is largely built will make any fish look small. He isnt 5' 7" 155 soaking wet Al Lindner, who makes a 2 pounder look like a 5. He is an old carpenter and has fists the size of a pumpkin softball.
