dude a drain pan for oil is like 10 dollars for a good one.
-
@kendrickevans301 i work on the f series producion line, and have 30 years experiance in this, i've personally have been burned by oil!
-
@kendrickevans301 No u wont get burnned dummy... The oil wont get that hot and i do this all the time and never get burned but if you have baby skin just get some gloves! Doing a bad job just because u are afraid of getting burned is not the way to go.
-
@195mkr you dont ant the engine to hot because the oil will burn you
-
i agree with u about new cars with krazy angles air filters
-
I use pennzoil ultra, I stay away from dyno oils, and yea you only spent 30 bucks cause fram filters are worse than a used oil filter
-
@ian67camaro understood but please dont teatch basics teatch how to do the right way and warn ppl that things are hot and they may want to use gloves to prevent burning and ramps are the best way to go because the ramps lean the car and the engine backand in the back is were the plug is so litle oil will be in there! And if you were working on a low car with underprotection covers i bet you were not able to change the oil like that .
How do you say change the oil is very simple but you do not know how to do it.... ALWAYS CHANGE THE OIL WITH A WARM ENGINE the oil will flow better and any dirt or metal particles will not be setle on the botom of the pan... One more thing u do not use ramps because your car is high and allows you to crawl under if the car was low then u needed ramps or jack's.... All sayed this is a bad bad film!

@195mkr These are valid points but I want to remind you, and everyone else that watches this that this video was made with the mindset of the absolute basics. Always refer to your vehicles owners manual for specific instructions. I did not want to get into the steps of warming the engine as I wouldn't want anyone to burn themselves on the oil pan or the oil itself. I don't recommend ramps as they don't allow the car to sit level, which can cause some old oil to remain in the pan after draining.

Hi do you recommend using this kind of oil for a car has over 100000km
MyHurtlocker 1 year ago
@MyHurtlocker Nope, I would always recommend checking your vehicles owners manual and if it doesn't recommend anything, speak with a mechanic or auto parts store about what they would use for YOUR vehicle.

what will happen if we haven't change the car oil???????
HamadHHAG 1 year ago
@HamadHHAG The oil gets dirty and looses it's ability to lubricate the engine properly over time. Eventually your oil can become so contaminated that it can cause fuel consumption issues, mechanical failures or depending on the amount of oil burned/leaked you could have a total engine failure. If you don't know when the last oil change occurred, consider getting one immediately.
