In few words:

As many of you have pointed out, I really feel the loss of individualism and the inprisonment and isolation of the individuals. The modern world focuses on production, thus eliminating the "Je ne sais quoi" ordinary things had before. It is a must to search and adapt our individuality to today's life, because a revolutionary change will be able in a not near time.
I participated in the creation of a play with a similar theme. It was a lot of work but it really helped to rediscover myself.

I bet you have no idea what is communism. All you know about it is small pieces that were fed to you by the people who had no idea about it just like you. This is pure capitalism, the world of office clerks who were born to fit in the offices just like skittles

Moreover, the people in the separate rooms were not communicating with each other rather their focus was on the television which resided in their own room. The individuals had metaphorically imprisoned themselves. The empty room represents the hollowness of life if one chooses to keep to his or herself rather than reaching out to one another, and people should center their lives around nature (being one) rather than centering their lives around technology.

For example, the man and woman were obviously pissed at each other yet were unable to express their emotions while still being civilized. This shows, that human beings in general have lost touched with their true selves and have put up a facade to which they have been molded into.

My interpretation of this video is that human beings have isolated themselves from each other, and that from chaos we get order which imprisons us. For instance, the clothes in the washing machine were balanced till it began to get filled with water (representation of an outside) that utterly consumed the clothes (representation of human beings). The outside force consists of technology, media, social "norms", etc. that mold us into who we are-the way we behave and live our lives. For
it was really really random i personally thought but somehow, like falcon731boy says: "it can be anything the audience interprets it as". i found it comforting, depressing, enlightining, etc. good way to play the moods

A huge effort. The best part was the television series where people are watching what's going on next door. The movie was beautiful. I loved the shot of the support for the washing machine being squeezed under pressure. Visual stunning. Way the heck better than any episode of House. As a visual objection against everything being the same it's counter intuitive that 'the same' can be so beautiful under the directors camera. I'd like to see something done by Risto more recently.
