@StrengthFromAbove83 Very true

@wisdometernal That's good. a wide variety of tools. I just bought a 10 foot chain to wear while I do TRX stuff. I use clubs, kettlebells, and rings too. There are safer, better ways to achieve the goals Crossfit sells.
-
@StrengthFromAbove83 Yea there's alot of science I think Corssfitters don't look into. That level of stress on the CNS for sustained, prolonged bouts can prove dangerous. Not my deal at all. I just incorporate a wide variety of techniques so I get a well rounded level of fitness overall. But WODs for 20mins at max V capacity isn't appealing to me at all.

@wisdometernal He's a silly guy that also seems to have a lack of understanding of anatomy and physiology. I just watched the main video on his page about "flat abs". You cannot contract fascia. You contract the transverse abdominis for intra-abdominal pressure. TACFIT is like controlled, smart Crossfit. Crossfit is a good way to damage your CNS.

@StrengthFromAbove83 I think TACFIT is awesome actually.That's why I knew who Scott was when I saw this;I found this video hilarious because Ellliot is just a silly guy&he made it very funny.But I respect EVERY discipline&technique,especiall
y when based on REAL WORLD application. TACFIT is definitely that. In addition to powerlifting, I study MoveNat,use kettlebells, Calisthenics&Capoeira Angola.I think all disciplines should be respected; that's why i was so angry when I was attacked. -
@wisdometernal fine and good. My question is... do YOU think TACFIT sucks? It's NOT the "end-all, be-all", but it has it's place. It DOES work for military operators (not douchebag POGs). Bulking up does NOT work for operators.... this is proven time and time again.
-
attacking TACFIT commando because it doesn't promote isolation is like attacking body building because it DOES isolate. 2 DIFFERENT GOALS OF EACH PROGRAM! Being a huge strongman is NOT conducive for military operations (unless you're a douchebag POG). Big guys can't hang on ruck marches, the obstacle course, or long runs, and they're too big for most CQB... they're huge TARGET and bullet-sponge.

@StrengthFromAbove83 I described him in the way he acted.If you bothered to go back&read the posts btwn us, you would've noticed HE initiated the confrontation,REFUSED to accept the "olive branch" post I put up initially explaining he was talking to the wrong guy&then CONTINUED to talk crap.Your statement's incorrect; I didn't make myself look like anything. I responded when unduely provoked.HE started the insults, HE started the snide remarks, so "keyboard tough guy" was suitable.

Isolation training is fine if it's the MINORITY in your training. Compound movements are king for functional strength. Everyone I see in the military that isolates and does body building-type workouts has huge knee, back, and shoulder issues.
-
@wisdometernal you called him a "keyboard tough guy". I'm just saying. You make yourself sound like an ignorant idiot when you make assumptions about someone. Some assume that because I'm a Constitutional Conservative, that I'm uneducated, live in a trailer park, or... that I'm rich, and my parents pay for my college education, all I do is watch Fox News, etc... All I did was make a statement.
how is your left biceps??
