Nearly two-thirds of Americans (65%) think the country will be better off four years from now, a significantly higher percentage (46%) than said the same when President George W. Bush was about to take office in January 2001.

  • GO OBAMA! He has high expectations because all these white people figure since they voted a black man in there that he needs to do better than the saletines before him. and with the economy the way it is now, the expectations are gonna be alot higher

  • Wildest thing was that on the same night of the election, I was called on the phone and did my very first Gallup Poll interview.

    It was a fantastic night and one that i'm certain will not be forgotten anytime soon.

  • Yuck! That's great...now the media's conducting polls even before their creation takes office. What a riot! Well, Barry's back in Chi-town now, where he came from. Hilarious, because the murder rate in Chicago is even higher than in Iraq. Now we'll have 4 or 8 years of polls about how awesome Barry is.

  • Screw the automotive industry... It's supposed to a free market. Build better products and compete.
