That's a great bit of software! I've been trying a few different programs but I think this is very good as it does all the hard work of calculating your % score!
I haven't tried the practice oscillator as I have a key but it looks like it's a good idea too using the space bar as a key... clever!

I got my Novice class when I was 12 years old and could copy 20 wpm. 15 years later, I still remember code. It's like riding a bike, you'll never forget it once you learn it.

The link for the MSI installer is dead. Are there any alternate download sites?

Just finished my first 5-minute session (K & M) with the program and got a 98.5% overall. Wow! Guess it's time for R!
Thanks for highlighting this program! My goal was to learn code by the end of the summer as well and I actually think it may be possible with JLMC!

@flyout78 If you're talking about the VERY beginning (what's in the background when I'm talking), that is a satellite tracking software called Orbitron that is free.

In order to transmit internationally, you must use a ham radio. It cannot be done with a CB, correct. Also what equipment do I need to start Morse code. Is it just the telegraph key-er and speaker.
layed39 1 year ago
@layed39 That is correct, Ham Radio is almost a must to do international radio communication. At a minimum, you'll need a transmitter, reciever (or a tranciever), and a keyer.
