Just finished the book yesterday. I cried every couple of chapters, especially at the happy ending; I now have an irrational fear of zebras; I love my own dog even more - tomorrow's my three year anniversary of owning him.

That dog is perfect for Enzo, but you guys are right. The voice is a little too robotic for me.

OK for you that "LIKE" to feel sad and cry...myself I "HATE" it! If something looks or feels sad, I find something cheerful to see or read! And who would want to make a animal who is so noble live a man's life? Not me! I would rather live a animals life they are sweet and loving and innocent! If we want to believe... I will take the rainbow bridges verion anytime! Because I really do believe, I will see my animals that have gone before me again!

Going into this I was very biased because I usually don't like stories about animals or automobile racing. However the two together seemed interesting and I am so glad I picked it up. It is about a dog, but it is also about so much more.
