In this video I am sailing in about 10-12 knots of wind off Jericho Beach in Vancouver. The video shows a couple of tacks, I have to duck under the boom as it is low, just a few inches higher than the gunnels, and swivel the wing mast into the wind.

  • Please share where you got your sail rigging from.

  • Hi, the mast and boom are from a Tasar dingy. I cut the mast down, and used a portion of upper mast for the boom. I had a local sailmaker sew new sails, following the Tasar plan, but scaled down to 92 sf.

    Hope that helps,

    Dave

  • WoW. That is truly Beautiful.

Both Craft and rigging. Must be one of the

nicest around. Yes that answers my question.

I think I am going to start out with a small windsurf sail, mast and boom.

If I could ask one more question? Where did you get the sponson (pontoon) from or did you make it?
