  • @melvinweed They're probably so mad knowing that they were so wrong about all of that & they probably loved rap on the low. Adults be so hypocritical & act as if they're above it all when a lot of them were truly down for it as well, there is no way they can tell me they weren't feeling mc's like LL Cool J, even Diana Ross who is a siddidy kind of lady, she was just on the grammys & LL said she was the first to give him a chance to rap with her on tv, so what that tells u & she was sophisticated

  • @melvinweed I love the subculture & all the slang from way back too, like how the hoes use to be like they need a nigga with trues & vogues, rag tops, fendi, gucci, jocking, chicken head they had the chicken head dance lol, the stomp & grind dance, the whop, cabbage patch, the brass monkey dance, california worm, pop the coochie, peanut butter jelly that came later, people use to drink sisco, some ppl had golds other had bullet caps on their teeth LMAO, shit was just hilarious.

  • @MyAmysBad Shy D had a song called "rap will never die" back in the eighties. A few years down the line during a psychology class in high scool we had that very discussion. The teacher tried to make a point that it surley will die and I remember telling him about the different styles of rap and how rappers had different audiences to make my point. Hip hop is bigger than I ever anticipated, iwonder what hes thinking now!

  • @melvinweed LOL, They need to not only cover hip hop, but all the famous dealers from back then like Ulysees, Convertible Burt & a number of others who I can't remember right now. Definitely cover 15th, Pac Jam, Strawberrys, Miami Nights & all them gold diggers with the move something spandex dresses on & the weave & oh lets not forget 79 street & Biscayne blvd with all the prostitutes & SW 8 street for the Spanish hoes LMAO. I wonder where they tricking now?

  • @MyAmysBad Shhh, keep it on the low! With hard work and dedication I think its definitly possible.

  • @MyAmysBad Im glad I can help. They had a dance they did to that song too, Im no dancer but I would love to see somone do it after all these years. MIA, you gota love it!

  • @melvinweed OMG, I'm jammin to this RAPTINI, I found it THANKS, that is so crazy the whole time I was a kid I was thinking that she was saying Rap TD, but u just corrected me, her name is RAPTINI & the song is definitely I'm coming out, it's on here & I NEVER even knew, I been googling & searching for that jam for YEARS LOL, Thanks Melvin, this chick had MEGA Skills, she knew how to rap, had a tight flow & delivery. It's CRAZY how much talent came out of Miami, DAMN. Again THANKS.

  • @melvinweed Thanks, u really opened me up to even more now. I love anything to do with the history of that REAL REAL in Miami. I'm like living through you & smiling as I read your experiences because I'm playing it all out in my mind, I can see it & feel it. Luke need to do a movie & cover all of this, it's way too much of a sweet history to just let go, he probably the only one who got enough bread to make it happen, Rick ain't hit those heights yet. So we gotta settle for videos.

  • @melvinweed Ok my bad for messing her name up & I can't even take all the credit for knowing Hip Hop, I LOVE it & I'm learning as we speak, but I definitely LOVE kicking it with u because u got that REAL REAL, u were in the midst of it all & hell yeah you've been around I'm hearing about all these places that I'm sure I may have heard about before but due to being younger or somewhat protected I didn't get to experience, it may have saved me because a lot of girls got done SO WRONG in MIA

  • @melvinweed And that's what a smart person does & I'm a give u all the props for that. See People don't understand that even if u don't go to college, u can learn all u need to know to survive right in the streets. Street smarts is just as valuable of a knowledge as book smarts. Look how many guys came up in the streets & turned their life around, what I feel sorry for is them dudes who still think that they can still make a come up from dealing, that's just pipe dreams, things truly done changed
