For all you folks with shit nuggets for brains, when he said, "my training took over..", he was implying that he had made contact with someone close to him after he made a call for the paramedics, AND (now listen closely) did his best to treat the wound and remain as calm as he could while he assessed the situation. That's where the real training comes in. Damn, there's a lot of stupid people..

Don't be ignorant. just because your guns are banned in your country doesn't mean a criminal will abide by the law and not carry a weapon. Here in the states a town made it a requirement for honest law abiding citizens who meet a certain criteria to own and carry a gun on person. I don't know the town or state off hand but I want to say maybe Georgia. Do you know what happened crime rate there almost dropped dramatically. Remember criminals will always break the law even if it means obtaining-

Oh yea, it needs to be standard practice to use FMJ during exercises because if that was any other kind of ammunition it would have been twice as bad. From what I've seen, you didn't need any recovery time just painkillers and booze ;)
