I actually could argue that the US and the west in general has always had a hand in the affairs of the middle east. This dates back to the 80's and our intervening in their war with Russia and in Iran by putting the Shah in Power and of course Israel which is a major source of conflict as well within the region. But Bush's fuck ups definitely did not help and helped make a tension filled area erupt into chaos.

If they get out of the war just like that the peoples lives were a complete waste of time and just a governments tool.
The middle East was actually much more stable before Bush's lies flung everyone into a terrible war.
I think the world may need military assistance to eventually have "world peace" but we could put money into non lethal highly defensive military technology and other things to minimize death.

@Youtamkuno Lol, no worries. I agree with you, but amusingly enough these were some of the smaller versions available where I live! (In my price range, anyway) :)
