@Zambaku Everyone has their way. I suggest looking for as many 'learn to crochet' sources as possible, and explore all the holds to find one that's right for you.

Hello i wonder if you can give me some advice please. My Girlfriend loves to make things with this crochet style and i would love to surprise her and get her some sort of crochet kit or supply's so is there anything you could reccomend. Not anything small i would like it to be a big kit or something used in crochet that is very useful to have, not something EXTREMELY expensive but just not something cheap. I really don't know anything about it so please reccomend something for me to get her.

@TimeSplitterChimp If she already crochets, then she already owns the hooks she needs to do it. Consider buying her a small collection of balls of worsted weight yarn in a rainbow of bright colours and putting them in a gift basket that can double as storage. Or hit the bookstore for a book of amigurumi patterns (check page two of the "crochet" section in my amazon shop, on my blogspot blog, Wiremysoul, for suggestions). What a great idea to get her something like this. Good on ya!

i've been trying to follow the arigurumi style and i understand increasing and decreasing, but cant tell where you are inserting the hook on the double stiches?? is there a video that shows this position better?

There shouldn't be any double-crochet stitches in this project. Can you be more specific with your question? What point in the video do you mean? (If you can note the time, I'll be better able to answer.)

@WireMySoul Thank you very much i will get her this and look for some sort of bag or something to keep all her stuff in, I know she loves to do this and make things and sell them on her website but i never talk about it with her because well im a guy lol but it means allot to her so i want to do this for her.
