Starlike Object in S.E Isn't Siruis * UFO

January 20, 2009, about 7:30 PM CST, far west Houston.
The sparkling, starlike object in the SE sky so many have observed & are talking about is a UFO, just like the one posing in front of Venus. It isn't Sirius, although many are mistaking it as such.
This video is two almost minute long segments taken within seconds of each other. The photos were taken at the same time. You may notice a little lighted green thing in the right bottom corner of the video. At the very beginning of the video of the object, a green thing can be seen coming towards me, and apparently landing in the corner of the lens. Back up the vid to see it for yourself.
there are many things sparkling and flashing along with the object. I would guess that the sky is loaded with activity.
I used AVS Video Tools, the sharpen feature, the only adjustment made.

My friend and i saw the same thing at around 8 while driving on 45 highway but it had flickering lights that we were able to see if we managed to stare at it without blinking.

i have a question.

was there a certain time when you couldn't see it anymore?

Zum1, no I didn't notice. It's around the corner of my building, and very dark, so I had no window view of it. I'll watch tonight, and see what it does. There is another one, posing in front of Venus which is like a huge spotlight in the SW. Both objects are pretty interesting. A few others like these are in the sky to the north also. They seem stationary through the night.

I noticed a strange pulsating object few days(or nights) ago.I first thought it was a lights from an airplane since the flickering was periodic like on/off in 1/2 seconds, but I noticed that the object didn't move!? It just flickered there more than few hours and then disappeared.
