@EloLawliet Upon closely reading the newspapers, you can tell that the virus remained in the archaeologists blood stream as a "presumed" non lethal floater, it's only purpose was to reanimate the hosts body once he died...which he happened to live 46 years later upon finally dying of old age.
Yeah I know that's alot to take in, but it was never intended to know EXACTLY what happened
