I work for the company that did the final cleanup of this Catastrophe, this situation was worsened and sensationalized by every single crackhead, with a 50 cent camera, who was able to get close enough to tape something, bearded unwashed losers who should probably go back to riding bikes and snowboards supplied by Daddy's job at the steam plant everything is slanted people
Thank God For You Tube! At least these atrocities were filmed. It looks like something you'd expect to find in a Third World nation. I heard Erin Brokovitch was going to get involved. Is there any updates as to what is happening or not happening?
If their is so much of that junk settled at the bottom of the river then chances are it will never be cleaned up. Maybe in 20 years but thats a maybe. How are they gonna get all that junk off the bottom of the river?
Lol "most reasently fomred mountain range in the country"
Having lived there by that TVA plant most of my life,I remember that in the late 80s- early 90s that you couldnt eat the fish that came out of that river..They blamed radiation was already in the river then coming from K-25 and Y-12 plants. Now it makes me wonder

Didn't see it reported for days afterward in Chicago. Another of their plants has burst in 2009.
