KCSC started in 1951 and has remained the student-owned and student-run radio station at California State University, Chico (now on the internet at http://www.kcscradio.com). As part of its 60th anniversary celebration, distinguished station alumni were invited to a panel discussion with students, other alumni, and the general public about how their experience in college radio at KCSC shaped their careers in music, broadcasting, journalism, and entertainment.

Speakers include: Sylvia Massey (multiple Grammy winning Record Producer, Owner of RadioStar Studios); Stephanie Swengel (Vice President Production, Fox Animation Studios); Roland West (Island Def Jam Promotion & Marketing Manager, APD/MD/DJ at "LIVE 105", DJ at KROQ, MD/DJ at KNAC); Pam Wolf (DJ at 91X, WBCN, The End, Live 105, KVRE, KOZT, KZOK, KCAL); Dred Scott (DJ at KFOG, "LIVE 105", Indie 103.1, The Sound 100.3, 91X, Writer, Producer at Westwood One); Toni Smith (Creative Director/Owner, happylucky, Inc. a global design and branding company); Anita Rivas, Esq. (Entertainment Lawyer and Music Consultant); Michael Cloward (Founder, Devil in the Woods Records, & DIW Magazine); Pete Beck (Senior Web User Interface Developer; Blue Shield of CA, Devil In The Woods Records, DIW Magazine). • @hersheybarblues Yup! I believe it is a cell phone.

  • This is good but what's that snippet of music? Starts at 12:50 and goes for a few seconds. I guess it's someone's cell phone.
