Meteorite hit Europe on January 17th 2009 20:10 CET

This footage is from Sweden. People in Denmark, Germany and Poland have seen it, too. This is real. They say it was a meteorite. Some claim it must have come down in the Baltic Sea between Sweden and Germany. I have seen it. It was amazing, like a big explosion somewhere.

Update: It was also seen in the Netherlands and people in Germany have heard a bang.
Update March 2009: They have found fragments on the danish Island Lolland now. They are 4.5 billion years old.

Amazing i saw it from Gothenburg lit up my livingroom .... It was found in Denmark 6 weeks later. ithought it was more close. :)

I saw this meteorite! We were driving down the Autobahn from Schweinfurt exiting to Wuerzburg here in Germany. Right when we took that exit I saw the sky flash before my eyes. My Mother and Fiance saw it too as we were all in the car. There was a brief period of silence as we thought that this meteorite was near and that there would be some sort of destruction. Non of us had seen this before and this is the only thing we could think. What a sight it was!!!!

@Xsh4deX couse the lame stream media is surpressing this kind of matters couse people just freak out and couse mass panic .. so they cant tell if an object is hitting earth what ever it is !! Peace :)

@gara9100 theres one thats50-50 chance of being a near miss. this one is capable of wiping us out of existence. it was said to pass by around 2012? yea, but if it miss us, they said it will come and rotate back to us directly hitting us 7 years later after the miss.they better start working on something that'll move it off course....
