I remember when Roland came to our school in Stuttgart germany and josh lived in the barracks next door, the girls name was Tammy and she was in my fifth grade class. Break dancing was big then and me and josh would always compete.

I am not sure but is Joshua Morrell the star in this a german actor or is the lip sync a bit off in the english version.
And why didnt he do more movies anymore. This was his only thing.

Did this movie scared you as a kid when you saw it on HBO or video?
Johnlindsey289 1 year ago
@Johnlindsey289 no, I saw it when I was 9 or 10, between 87-88 when we rented it from Blockbuster. It didn't scare me. A lot of films did, but not this one. I wanted that ventrioloquist doll (not of course the creature in the film, but one that looked like that.) Making Contact, House, Unico the Magic Island, and The Peanutbutter Solution were my favorite rentals.

Unico 1 & 2 were awesome anime movies, i grew up with those and Peanutbutter Solution. Do you think the film is very similar to Poltergeist, Pan's Labyrinth, Akira, and House with a bit of Studio Ghibli? you gotta admit this movie is like a Ghibli movie brought to life.

The dummy is Astrotrain too? Cool! This movie is seriously scarier than most actual horror movies.

Of course and he was in another New World Pictures butchery of a foreign movie called Warriors of the Wind which was a hatchet job of Nausicaa which was a great Japanese animated movie distributed in 1985 from New World Pictures
