Singapore TV Actor Mark Chow Guilty Of Molest

A former TV actor and model was convicted of molest in a district court on Thursday.

30-year-old Mark Chow had molested a 27-year-old former pub operations manager while she was resting on a sofa in the pub's office in January 2007.

Closed-circuit television footage showed Chow putting his hand into her blouse to touch part of her breast.

He also tickled her palm, stroked her cheek, arm and thigh, and patted her buttocks.

Chow will be sentenced on April 1.

He faces a jail term of up to two years or a fine or caning, or any two of the punishments.

According to information posted on his blog, Mark is a YPAP member of Pasir Ris-Punggol South and was nominated for Spirit of Enterprise Awards. Marks YPAP membership was not reported in the press.
Marks lawyer Subhas Anandan pleaded for leniency on the grounds that he had some mental disorders.
He did not highlight Marks grassroots volunteer work.
